Join NIFF at the Oscar Awards Party
The Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) invites you to celebrate the nomination of "The Cove" for Best Documentary from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences by attending the 2010 Oscar Awards Party. If you love the idea of a true "Oscar" party and want to support the Naples International Film Festival (NIFF), then there is only one place to be on Oscar night: Absinthe Dining-Lounge located at 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Suite 200, in the Collection at Vanderbilt. The party begins at 7:00pm on Sunday, March 7, 2010, which includes Hors d'oeuvres and a three course meal. Cost of the event is $100.00 per person. The Great Venetian Duck Race:
On February 27, 2010, The Great Venetian Duck Race was a coming together of our community, with more than 150 volunteers and companies supporting the cause and the greatest part of the event was that it served families, young and old in support of The Children's Museum of Naples. The day began with numerous crafts and entertainment prior to the main event... the duck drop and race. When the skies opened up, the rain prompted the duck drop to take place a few moments earlier than planned, nonetheless, the grand consensus was that fun was had by all.
