Beach Homes for the Brave Program

The soldier was looking for just the right place to vacation with his family during leave from his 2nd tour in Iraq, so he emailed www.naples.com, a website he thought could offer information on Naples, Florida.  The site led him to Premier Properties of Southwest Florida Inc., REALTORs,

Vacation Rentals Realtor Tony Blasksis, himself a veteran of the first Gulf war, who saw the inquiry as an opportunity to say thank you to a brave soldier fighting for our country.  Working together with a local condominium owner who is his client, he brought that opportunity to reality.

And so SFC Kenneth F. Caincross, 209th MCT stationed in Camp Liberty, Baghdad, his wife, and 2 sons have spent a week in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condominium in Naples – at no charge.  And he likely will not be the last.

Premier Properties’ Rental Division Manager Hilary Young believes Sgt. Caincross will be just the first to be offered a similar vacation.  “We think this is a great way to give back to those men and women who are risking their lives to protect our way of life,” she comments.  The company is working with owners of condominiums in their rental pool to determine who might be willing to participate, and already several owners have signed on.  The company also has connected with a regional program, “Beach Homes for the Brave,” and is looking to other local businesses to get involved.
